I would suggest a top with a print or a good neckline (you don’t have to, but showing some cleavage doesn’t hurt), maybe a cute scarf or some kind of power shoulder etc - to draw attention up and away from your hips.
You can always work with a black bottom and white upper too. Monochrome is in (when isn’t it?) especially...
